HDFC Bank has launched a national level scholarship program to give out "over 5000 Scholarships ranging from Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 10 Lakh amounting to Rs. 1.5 crore, to students from the 4th to the 9th standard."
A Judges panel will choose the winners, the evaluation criteria being:
a. Academics – Last 2 years performance in school
b. Extracurricular activities and Sports – Competitions won in intra-school, inter-school, state level and national level
c. Final written tests

How much time would it take to complete the IVR test?
If a participant answers all the questions correctly in first attempt, they should finish the IVR test in ten minutes.

I am Pooja's mother Neetu. I heard about this scholarship program 2009 for 4th to 9th standards and instantly felt that my daughter should be a part of this nationwide scholarship program for students.
I got my daughter registered for the online program at HDFC Bank's online website at http://www.hdfcbank.com/meritus/register_now.asp. The registration process is very simple.
Also the last date for registrations has been extended to 22nd February 2009.
There is another latest update about the HDFC Bank's scholarship programme and that is the last date for registration to the program has been further extended to 28th Feb 09.

I got my cousin registered for the HDFC scholarship program. All I had to do was just fill and submit the details of my cousin through the online form at http://www.hdfcbank.com/meritus/register_now.asp
The latest update on scholarship program is that the last date for registration has been extended to 10th March 2009.
